What is it about dogs that warms our hearts and fires our imaginations? Is it that they live in the moment, or that earning their trust makes us feel connected to the wider world?
I know from personal experience we don’t have our dogs or any of our pets with us nearly long enough. So I'm devoted to making it easy to commission photographs that honor them and the bond you share.
We'll talk about whether it's best for you to come my studio, head outdoors nearby, or travel to a location that resonates with you.
We'll do it in a way that is the most relaxing and meaningful to you.
Photographing dogs is different from photographing people
I'm not a family photographer who just happens to make a few photos of the odd pet now and again: I’m a dedicated pet photographer who believes dogs and other pets are an integral part of the family.
Crawling on my belly with a camera, I've photographed the personalities of thousands of dogs and other pets and the wide spectrum of people who love them. I bring a calm, playful energy, embrace chaos, and love it when everyone's enjoying themselves.
During your session, you'll benefit from all my experience communicating with animals and inspiring them to engage and play. Pets need a fair bit more time to acclimate to new situations as well, so my sessions always include extra time for fun and frolic.
