Did you know that I make house calls? Sometimes, venturing out into unexplored territory is just the thing, but sometimes photos made right in your own back yard — or very close to it — resonate most powerfully. This was the case with these images of Holly and her adored Golden Retriever Cam, who love playing fetch in their neighbor’s pool.
We were lucky to choose one of the last really warm summer days and I was able to capture Cam having a blast in her happy place with her favorite person! Can you believe Cam just turned 13??
The final shot of Cam proudly taking one of her victory laps around the pool with her bumper in her mouth and the water droplets flying off her wet coat speaks volumes to me. 🧡
